Bug Description
occasionally cups printing fails with printing pdf documents. Cups 1.5.2 running on oneiric. If the crash occurs depends on number of document pages, number of requested print copies, and the content of the pdf. I have a high rate of crashes with a document stream where a pdf is merged with anoter pdf as watermark by using pdftk and then handed over via lpr to the cups server. I had to discontinue usage of oneiric as cups server, and rolled back to 11.10 for productive use.

i am not sure, but could it be that this is a diplicate bug from Bug #982675? At least it looks very similar to me.
