gnome-terminal doesn't observe profiles

Bug Description

Gnome-terminal 3.0.1 (first observed on Linux Mint Lisa) does not observe profiles once they have created. For further symptoms cf. http://superuser.com/questions/374616/linux-mint-12-cant-create-gnome-terminal-profiles

Steps to reproduce:

1) Create terminal profile
2) Execute "gnome-terminal --window-with-profile" resulting in error "No such profile <profile name", using default profile"
