Can't change the background picture

Bug Description

In Ubuntu hoary, I can't change the background picture in control-center.

In the dialoge windows, there are nothing change when I double-click in a
picture, or selection picture and click on close button.

I experienced the same problem when testing the calendar artwork; I believe the
only way I was able to clear the condition was to remove ~/.gnome2/backgrounds.xml

does it work after killing nautilus or the gnome-settings-daemon ?
perhaps that's a dup of #1320.

Exactly, the problem is appear after install the "ubuntu-calendar".
