Unity now showing program in Unity left toolbar

Just started GIMP from dash and I cannot find the icon in the left bar. You can see that GIMP is started in the screenshot.

Actually I discovered it is missing from alt-tab list too, so it might be qa different culprit (do not know). Se the second screenshot.

I now could see the icon appears for 1-2 seconds and then it is gone. See this video I recorded:
