Podcasts in double

[Elbarbudo]

I use Rhythmbox to manage 15 podcasts.
Since about 3 month, on each start of Rhythmbox, a lot of already downloaded episodes appear with an "empty" status.

Double clicking on it mark them first as "waiting" then "downloaded" (very quick) and the episode appears twice in the list.

I hoped "Precise Pangolin" to fix this but this is not the case.

This second screenshot shows the "date sorted episode" view. This shows episodes in double.

I have the same problem. We are trying to solve it on the Italian site, http://forum.ubuntu-it.org/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=527969&p=4125631#p4125631. It may be a problem with France culture podcast? Because it seems to me with other podcast there are no problems.

I have the same problem with other "Radio-France" podcasts (France inter http://radiofrance-podcast.net/podcast09/rss_10205.xml) and sometimes with http://feeds.feedburner.com/PodcastScience

In Rhythmbox folder in my home I found many xml files; the user who helps me noticed there was a %20 instead of the blank in the name of the podcast folder and suggested to me to erase it (for example, xml file: "user%20name"; on the desktop "user name"). In my case it seems to work at the moment, but I cannot test it often. See if there is a similar situation in your folder, too.

Which Rhytmbox folder?
I found NO xml files in my Music folder, nor in my Podcasts folder.

Apparently Rhytmbox xml files are in .local/share/rhytmbox, and I have only rhytmdb.xml in this folder. No filename with %20 instead of space.

I'm sorry. I found it in /home/username/.gconf/apps. Try to see there.

Not solved. However, I really think it concerns only podcast from France Culture and France Inter, in my case. Have you tried to post a message on the Ubuntu France forum? In case you have, tell me the url!

Sad but this problem is true for some podcast from http://podfm.ru - russian podcast agregator.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
