Bug Description
64-bit feisty
I had Flash running via aliened nspluginwrapper rpms. It was working well.
Today (or very recently) the plugin stopped working. Attempts to resintall fail due to missing libs: libxcb-xlib.so.0.
Run ldd on /usr/lib/
$ ldd libflashplayer.so
libdl.so.2 => /lib32/libdl.so.2 (0xf77d4000)
[... snip ...]
libc.so.6 => /lib32/libc.so.6 (0xf704d000)
libxcb.so.1 => not found
libXau.so.6 => /usr/lib32/
libSM.so.6 => /usr/lib32/
[... snip ...]
I remember seeing updates to xlib related packages very recently (yesterday or today.) I suspect the 32-bit libxcb* files have been overlooked somehow.
I have a similar problem with a freshly updated Feisty install while attempting to run Google Earth (32 bit).
./googleearth-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libxcb-xlib.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
The packages aren't found in /usr/lib32.
