Bug Description

Since upgrade to 12.04, Mikrotik Winbox can't connect to a router.

In dmesg, there is a message "[265449.724303] ptrace of non-child pid 3111 was attempted by: wineserver (pid 3084)"

I use winbox to manage my router, of course i user it every day. but in my Precise i can't produce this bug

It happens when I try to connect to Mikrotik V2.9.26 and secure mode option in winbox checked. If I uncheck this option, I can connect without a problem.
Connecting to V3.20 is without a problem both with and without secure mode checked.
