Bug Description

I have the HDMI output from my Radeon hd6450 card connected to a sharp TV. When I log in the sound works prefectly but once I turn off the tv or change the input and back again to the hdmi input the sound stops working. The only fix to correct this is by logging off and restart the X server. Once I restart thye X server from the login screen everything comes back to normal.

This problem did not happen on Kubuntu 11.10 it just started when I upgraded to Kubuntu 12.04

Thanks
