Bug Description

on a client: virt-viewer -c $server vm &

The virt-viewer window opens, then immediately closes again. Trying the same with virt-manager: no console, but message: "Error: viewer connection to hypervisor host got refused or disconnected!". Since this ran before I assume i a bug.

Server:
ii libvirt-bin 0.9.8-2ubuntu17 programs for the libvirt library
ii libvirt0 0.9.8-2ubuntu17 library for interfacing with different virtualizat

Client:
ii virt-manager 0.9.0-1ubuntu3 desktop application for managing virtual machines
ii virt-viewer 0.4.1-1ubuntu2 Displaying the graphical console of a virtual machine

Connections to a debian host are working. Only those to Ubuntu precise are not working.

$ ll /var/run/libvirt
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 120 May 5 20:57 ./
drwxr-xr-x 36 root root 1.4K May 6 00:46 ../
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 40 May 5 20:57 qemu/
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 40 May 5 20:57 uml-guest/
srwxrwx--- 1 root libvirtd 0 May 5 20:57 libvirt-sock=
srwxrwxrwx 1 root libvirtd 0 May 5 20:57 libvirt-sock-ro=

Socket is there and has neccessary rights set. Users are in group libvirtd. It does not work for users or root.

Doesn't work for local or remote connections. Enabling VNC via tcp without encription: same. With encription same again.

Doesn't matter if client is precise or oneiric. Both do not work against a precise server, while both work against a debian testing or an oneiric server.
Something is broken using precise on the server side!
