Looks like the file "/etc/default/mythexport-install" is not getting installed, hence the error. That's my hypothesis.

Did remember if you have an error with this package in earlier Ubuntu versions (if you installed them)?

What did you enter when prompted for a directory? The only way I know to force that to happen is to enter something like spaces.
