Jay are you going to update it to final 2.0?

2.0 really should be included in gutsy. I am stuck with the old 1.0.2 here and would really like an upgrade.

it still is... any chance of it being in the gutsy repos in the next few days/weeks?

Is there a way of finding out the proposed release date?

I can't install it at all in Gutsy because v2 still isn't available in the repos and the dependencies for v1.0.2 are broken.

Cesare, in the bug you're referencing, vmware-player 1.0.0 is removed because there's a newer 2.0 version.

"The package is also outdated as there is a new major version (2.0) provided by VMware." (sic)

Did you make a mistake closing it, or are we moving to vmware-package?
