Bug Description

Hello!

I'm noticed that the program to configure the session startups application uses a very unconfortable dialog to add and edit entries. I mean the dialog that allows you to configure the name, command and comment for the autostarted program.

I propose that the add/edit dialog consists on a filterable applications list with the buttons Add (or Save), Cancel and an expander with the label "Advanced options" which shows the options previously mentioned.

When user selects an application in the application list, the advanced options widgets must be updated, when user edits some widgets on the advanced options, the list should select a "Custom" item.

I guess the program should copy the original .desktop file from "/usr/share/applications" in the case of not be a customized entry, and, when the entry is customized, should be saved with a well known filename for that purpose, so, when user going to edit an entry, the program knows which item mark as selected on the application list.

What do you think?

Where is the Ubuntu 12.04 version of gnome-session-properties? I saw the upstream version but it's quite different.
