Kernel panic on startup, after installing fglrx on 12.04

Bug Description

On 12.04 and its been working fine for weeks, until 10 minutes ago, I decided to try enabling the fglrx AMD proprietary drivers under the Additional Drivers menu.

I rebooted, and got a kernel panic straight away.

I have 3 harddrives drives, all plugged into sata ports, Ubuntu is on the 2nd drive, 2nd partition, formatted as XFS. I can't imagine why graphics drivers have changed the kernel's ability to see my partition...

This was originally a mythbuntu install, recently upgraded to 12.04.
