Bug Description

The system is not able to install any linux generic package since 2.6.38.11. Beginning with number 11, it is unable to install .12, .13. I got that problem with ubuntu 11.04 some months ago. I thought that installing 12.04 would solve the problem. Please, help. I'm new to ubuntu. I was very happy with it the firsts months, but since it is having this problems my PC is not working fine.

You may need to run the following:

sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update

Then re-install the package.

If that does not resolve your issue, please mark the bug as "Confirmed"
