Bug Description

Hello
I've purchased the game Irukandji in software center, but actually I cannot install it, the procedure seems to start then return to the install page.
Internet is working.
I've already tried many times to reinstall by 'already purchased software' way but not to avail.

from Software Center Log:

Hi Fabio! Is it possible that you purchased Irukandji when you were running Ubuntu Natty or Maverick. It seems it was available for amd64 on those series, but is only available for i386 for Oneiric and Precise [1].

There's a comment on the changelog that mentions this decision [2], which was an unfortunate one for people like yourself who had purchased it to run on amd64. I'll notify both the person in charge of the packaging, to see if it really is not possible to publish this for amd64 as well, as well as a support person. Thank you for taking the time to report the details of the bug!

Hello Michael
I've purchased Irukandji yesterday and it was regularry proposed as a normal software in software center.
I've never purchased this software before, and is the first time that I see it.
Only last night the title was updated adding that the software isn't available for this version of Ubuntu, but was too late.
Thanks
Fabio

Wow, so somehow your Ubuntu Software Center on amd64 presented an
application for purchase which is only available for i386.

Oh, that's possible, but I would be surprised if it's the case - but
JohnP will know for sure. Either way, we'll find out why you were
presented with an uninstallable app for purchase. Thanks again Fabio.

The problem is that this app was available as a explicit amd64 package as Michael pointed out above in Natty and Maverick. With the multiarch changes presented in Oneiric and Precise the amd64 build was dropped, however the entry in the SCA was not updated. Upon discovery (this bug) we went ahead and removed the amd64 entries which took affect yesterday.

We have a bug #966335 that will address the issue with multiarch and presentation to the USC by the SCA.

I hope your payment has been addressed - if not, reply and we'll rectify.

The package will run as i386 on amd64, but will not install using the USC currently (it would have to be a manual install).
