Exception during pm.DoInstall(): E:Could not perform immediate configuration on 'mysql-client-5.5'. Please see man 5 apt.conf under APT::Immediate-Configure for details. (2)

Could not install the upgrades

The upgrade has aborted. Your system could be in an unusable state. A
recovery will run now (dpkg --configure -a).

attach the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ to the bug report.

installing the mysql-client-5.5 package and then doing do-release-upgrade seems to fix the problem
