Color picker has tooltip that covers color

I've got the color picker addon enabled, so I'm supposed to be able to pic a color from a chooser and insert it into the text. However, there's a huge tooltip that appears when you hover over the color wheel/triangle itself, often covering up the chosen color.

It pretty much renders this tool unusable.

I cannot reproduce your issue on 12.10.
As 11.10 is about to EOL, issues at least affect 12.04 would be of developers' interest.
