Aiccu failed to upgrade after asking if keeping or not current conf file.
Keep current aiccu.conf file was selected.

The workaround was to purge aiccu and reinstall

This is no bug, but desired function: in /etc/aiccu.conf the option "daemonize" has to be true in new installations, because of new upstart-compatible init-script.
