list of online videos is not mine

When I open Dash -> Videos, the list of Online videos is not mine. I have never seen them before, and no one has been using my computer except me :)

Maybe a developer commited his own data? Maybe I just don't understand the logic of the default data?

Anyways, why not just remove the thing / make it a non-default option? It's bloat that takes up resources.

When you don't type a search in the lens, the Online category recommends videos from sources it's using (recommends as in "Top videos" from these sources and not as in "recommended for you"). You can see all the available sources if you open "Filter results" at the top right of the lens.
Listing online videos that belong to you is not (yet) implemented in the lens.

Thanks, I understand now. But then I recommend changing the text to "Top online videos" and maybe removing the feature, since it's not very useful.

I guess discussions of unity-lens features is not supposed to take place here. Got a mailing list or similar?

It's supposed to help discovering that you can search for videos on Youtube Movies, Vimeo, TED, etc. directly in the lens. Your feedback is interesting.

Thanks, I think some attention has to be paid to the benefits of such default features. First of all, there are the deamons, and then secondly there's the problem of slower loading of the Dash menus.

Also I notice CPU load, which shows that for instance the music daemon is quite a problem.
