Rhythmbox iPod sync error messages cause system crash

Bug Description
Sometimes I get permission-related errors when I try to copy a lot of songs to my iPod Classic.
I'll look deeper into these errors myself, but the main issue is how Rhytmbox handles these errors. It generates a new error-message window for each song that it fails to copy. I was trying to copy 20,000 songs. All of these windows were layered ontop of each other and Rhythmbox generated them faster than I could close them until my system crashed.
I'll try and report back when I have more info.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
