Calendar Search should Display Many Results in the Bottom Pane

Currently, to search for an event in the Google Calendar plugin, one must:
Type 'Search Events', hit tab, type an event to search for, hit tab, select a calendar, and hit enter. Then, it will pop up a new gnomedo window with the results.

This is inconvenient if you need to tweak your search query (ie, 'meet' to 'meeting') or if you need to switch which calendar you're searching in (did I put that event in my personal calendar or my school calendar?).

It would be more convenient to be able to see the results in the same window.
