Bug Description
I just tried putting Ubuntu Warty Warthog on an IBM x206 workstation, with an
IDE CD-ROM and a SATA harddrive. It fails to find a CD-ROM in the installer (no
common CD-ROM found), so the install halts.
It's a simple IDE drive, which works fine under a 2.4 kernel. I'm not sure what
the issue could be.
The drives shows up under 2.4.21 as
SAMSUNG CD-ROM SC-148A, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
