Bug Description

ubuntu-docs 12.04.4, Ubuntu 12.04

1. Open the Help.
2. Search for "encrypt home".

What happens: "No matching help pages found in “Ubuntu Desktop Guide”."

What should happen: Instructions on how to encrypt your home folder.

Well, the Ubuntu Desktop Guide doesn't have any documentation at all for installation.

It's not obvious that encrypting your home folder in Ubuntu requires (re)installation. It doesn't in OS X, for example. So I don't think you can expect people not to search for it for that reason.

It appears that the process is a simple one-liner, by way of ecryptfs but there is no help page in the 14.04 tree

It suggests that this kind of instruction fits better in the community help wiki, with a link from the official system documentation.
