Stacktrace:
Only applies to an iPhone plugged in PRIOR to starting Banshee. Plugged in iPhone AFTER Banshee has been started works as expected.
Mint Lisa, kernel 3.0.0-17-generic.
Banshee version: 2.2.0-2linuxmint1
I too am having this same problem with Banshee 2.6.2 on Linux Mint 17 Qiana (installed from the Software Manager).
It also occurs when waking from suspend with the iPhone plugged in even if Banshee had been open already before the suspend.
I also noticed that Banshee will not open after the force quitting. I opened `htop` and noticed that some Banshee processes are still running after the force quit. All attempts to terminate or kill these processes, even with root permissions, failed. They do not go away until the iPhone is unmounted and unplugged.
It may also be worth noting that when Banshee first freezes in this crash, there is a picture of an iPhone or iPod in the bottom left corner of Banshee with a loading bar that reads "100%" and a caption that reads something along the lines of "Writing music database...". I cannot remember the exact message now.
