I'm first assigning this to Carlos to give some answers:

1) Should replies have something prefixed to let you know what you were replying to?

2) Should a reply or maybe a repost show the original author's picture and link, with a decoration saying "Reposted by whomever"

3) Can we architecturally support one, or more than one, level of threading and thus have a conversation view?

If (3) is yes, then Blaise can mock something up.

1) Yes, the user handle of the original author should be prefixed.
2) Yes, the original author's picture should be there and not the one of the replying user.
3) Yes, we can do that if we change the model just a little. It makes sense to have Blaise mock something up.

I think I confused even myself with my last reply to question 2. Here it goes again:

2) Should a reply or maybe a repost show the original author's picture and link, with a decoration saying "Reposted by whomever"?

    a) The reply should not have the original author's picture or link, but should include a "In reply to x" text with a reply icon.
    b) The repost will have the picture and link of the original author, in addition to "Reposted by x", where x is the reposting user.

The repost behavior described in b) above has been implemented, but we need a repost icon and general CSS improvements (Blaise?).

Carlos, can you and Blaise work out the peeling out of (2)?

The post display code now includes reply and repost features. The single post view includes a conversation view. Both need styling, so transferring to Blaise.
