Bug Description
Hi,
network-manager used to store connections in gconf back in 10.04 days.
Upon upgrade to 12.04 and nm- 0.9.4.0 they live now in /etc/NetworkMan
But the old connection information from
~/.gconf/
is not migrated. I updated from 10.04 back in march.
This problem is also mentioned here:
http://
If NM doesn't migrate connection information,
this needs to be in the release doc, I guess.
Yours,
Steffen

Just to make it clearer: I still have all my connections in
~/.gconf/ system/ networking/ connections$ ls
1 12 15 18 20 23 26 29 31 34 37 4 42 45 48 50 53 56 59 61 64 67 7 8
10 13 16 19 21 24 27 3 32 35 38 40 43 46 49 51 54 57 6 62 65 68 70 9
11 14 17 2 22 25 28 30 33 36 39 41 44 47 5 52 55 58 60 63 66 69 71 %gconf.xml
but they don't show up in network manager.
