Bug Description

I noticed that DNS proxy fails to recover /etc/resolv.conf. after it is killed After a binary search, I discovered the that the problem was introduced by the following patch:

revno: 6364 [merge]
committer: Paul Tötterman <email address hidden>
branch nick: hipl
timestamp: Tue 2012-04-03 20:41:18 +0300
message:
  Merge pylint fixes branch.
modified:
  tools/hipdnsproxy/hipdnsproxy.in
  tools/hipdnsproxy/hosts.py*
  tools/hipdnsproxy/pyip6.py*
  tools/hipdnsproxy/util.py

Paul, can you please check this?

How to repeat:

host www.fi
<this works>
sudo tools/hipdnsproxy/hipdnsproxy
host www.google.com
<this works too>
<kill DNS proxy with ctrl+c>
host www.funet.fi
<this last look up fails because DNS proxy terminated itself ungracefully>

I tested that the repeated scenario was still working in revision 6363.
