Bug Description

Hello,

I have been trying to make Thunderbird plugin work for the last couple of days with no luck.
I am using the following 6.1 version released on 7 April .
I tried the following:
install the plugin in open erp, use the configuration wizard to download the xpi plugin for Thunderbird. The one packaged in the server has version 1.0 .

I can connect to the database, but am unable to push contacts or mails, what happens is either nothing , or am redirected to http://openerpserver:8069/web/webclient/home

I have also downloaded the version 1.0.1 of the plugin from the internet , and same result.

affects: openobject-server → openobject-addons

I have reinstalled evrythign for a new test:

Open ERP version 6.1-20120420-233334
Thunderbrid version 10.0.1 ( tested also on 11.0.1)
OpenERP plugin version 1.0.1 on thunderbrid
Thunderbid addon version 6.1.1.0

Connection test is successful

Contact Creation test:
If the contact exists in the database, browser opens with the contact page displayed.
If teh contact do not exist in the database, OpenERP window popup in thunderbird , you select a partner.
When you link, browser open with partner page displayed, you scroll in the contacts and you find that the Contact has been created. but you only find the email address the contact name is not added even if the "contact name field" has been filled in Thunderbird.

Document Push test:

When I select an email and click on document, nothing happens in Thunderbird.

I am willing to debug further, but don't have enough knowledge, if someone can tell me how to proceed am willing to continue troubleshooting.

Hello Jad Tabet,

Thanks for your reply,

When select email and create document , Type of document is partner and click on push button it is showing me popup like "User the button Partner to create a new partner" and show the blank page.
As per my opinion if partner is already exists then this popup message shouldn't show.

Thanks.
