knetworkmanager not runnable from kubuntu feisty beta menu

KUBUNTU feisty beta: When trying to run knetworkmanager from the K-->Internet--->knetworkmanager menu selection, nothing happens.
manually typing "knetworkmanager" in a Konsole shell does not work either.

please give the output of:

ps aux | grep knetworkmanager

Knetworkmanager's session handling is great - sometimes you will need to run "pkill knetworkmanager && knetworkmanager" in a console to fix it. Does this help?

i have the same problem (quite clean kubuntu 7.04)... restarting as sarah suggests works, but this should not be needed for a desktop OS.

now my wireless seems to've started working.

ohh. an i dont know if i can report knetworkmanager bugs here, but i think that program can give me a reason for not starting (right now if i start knetwrkmngr when it is already started it just seems to return to the prompt without an error).
