About use "sox" in "Linux Educational", brazilian distribution for elementary school teather

Bug Description

Please, I want use audacity for recording sounds, but in my distribuition named like "Linux educational" not have sox program.
Then, I write using root account: sudo apt-get install sox
Then, see this message:
professor@professor:~$ sudo apt-get install sox

sox já é a versão mais nova. <<<==== Here, in portuguese, mean: "This is new version, but..."

Apparently, the problem is not related to SoX. It appears to me that “sox já é a versão mais nova” actually corresponds to “sox is already the newest version”, so it seems to be installed already.

I’m moving the report to the bcmwl-kernel-source package because there can be seen a failing post-installation script of bcmwl-kernel-source in the screenshot and in the copied output.
