* Select NO to detect keyboard layout and press Enter
* Select your keyboard origin and press Enter
* Select your keyboard layout and press Enter
/!\ Select Right Alt to replace AltGr key and press Enter
/!\ Select a compose key (to produce characters not on the keyboard) and press Enter
/!\ Select your preferred text encoding for your console and press Enter /!\ The best default should be pre-selected for you

The wiki page with the test case includes the following bit:

Install/AlternateExpert (last edited 2010-10-07 11:48:11 by marjo-mercado)

Its quite possible the test case has been updated to reflect changes in the installer.

Then one has to check current priority of console-setup messages. If it was intentionally сhanged then test case should be updated and this bug is invalid.

I think these are deliberate changes in console-setup and the test case needs updating; but I'd like Colin to double-check me on that.

Changed in debian-installer (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Low

These were intentionally dropped a while back, and I don't intend to reintroduce them. The test case should be amended. Even in expert mode, there were some questions that it just didn't make sense to ask at all in the installer.

affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu) → console-setup (Ubuntu)
Changed in console-setup (Ubuntu):
status: New → Won't Fix
