Bug Description

edubuntu usb live. English language chosen. I ask to save files on my Desktop folders, but I do not see them on the Desktop itself. I open a terminal and the files I saved are correctly listed inside the Desktop directory. I reboot and now the files I saved in the previous session are correctly shown on my Desktop. Again the files saved on my Desktop during the current session are NOT shown even if present on the Desktop directory.
