The buttons in lightdm for "shutdown" and "reboot" do not function, even if I'm the only user who is logged in.

Thank you for your bug report, could you go to a vt and run "ck-list-sessions" and copy the log there when that happens?

Do you try to reboot from your session or from the login screen? That log suggests your user has a session open, if that's the case lightdm will not do any action to not close your running session
