Also, in unity 2D some graphical issues are showed.
It seems to be something about drivers, but before the last update it's not happening....
Also, gnome shell is working as unity, unresponsible and very laggy.

From ask ubuntu, some person say that is a driver fault in the last update, casue to the update of the nvidia update.

Also happens in ubuntu 11.10, last update 20/04/2012

I Have to do a correction in the original bug:
Compiz it's not at 100% cpu usage. It was only a few moment the first time that happens the bug. But not now.

summary: - Compiz 100% CPU and irresponsible after last update
+ Compiz irresponsible after last update
tags: added: compiz-0.9

If you are using the proprietary NVIDIA driver, this should be fixed in 295.49 - see http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux-display-amd64-295.49-driver.html and https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers

Your solution (install nvidia drivers from his web page) broke me the entirely X server. Now I can't access to any graphical session.
