half of my bookmarks are lost

Bug Description
after installation of ubuntu 12.04 I copied my home directory from a backup directoty.
After rebooting and starting firefox half of my bookmarks are gone.
I can see the bookamarks from a-h but all other boormarks are lost.
I tried to restore the bookmarks from the last few days, bust stille all
bookmarks starting with a letter after H are lost.

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.
Presumably this problem was a one time occurrence and/or is no longer an issue? Can this bug report now be closed?
