It is unclear what user to count for this overview. Certainly, deleted users should not be taken into account. But how about inactive users? What is the "right" number of user anyway?

By now, inactive users are being counted. I don’t know the reasons why accounts are being set to inactive − or if that feature is used at all. I am in favour to keep this behaviour while nobody complains.

--Action--
1- I agree, we don't have need to change the summary page.

--Information--
2- Users are being set to an 'inactive' state in order to remove them from the list of active users but at the same time keep track their history of actions. This behaviour is intended and used regularly.

3- Coupling transaction data to the event history is probably bad design. This should be fixed. Please consider providing information to https://blueprints.launchpad.net/goobi-production/+spec/revise-event-history
