Mongo was installed via: sudo pecl install mongo. The installed version is 1.2.10.

this is definitely not an apache2 bug, as apache2 does not have anything resembling zm_globals_ctor_mongo.

I would suggest you report this bug to the pecl mongo authors. Since this is not a bug in any code supported by Ubuntu, I am closing this bug report.
