uname -a : Linux sae-E350N 3.2.0-23-generic-pae #36-Ubuntu SMP Tue Apr 10 22:19:09 UTC 2012 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux
lsusb: Bus 002 Device 006: ID 0a5c:200a Broadcom Corp. BCM2035 Bluetooth dongle
dpkg -l: ii bluez 4.98-2ubuntu7 Bluetooth tools and daemons

I can add the phone to the list of devices, but when trying to send a file to the phone it fails. Trying to send file from the phone to the PC fails as well.

This is reported against an old version of Ubuntu and many things has changed since then. Because of that we won't fix this issue however if this behavior repeats on a modern version please fill a bug report against it and we will take it from there.
