Bug Description
hi,
i have just upgraded to ubuntu 12.04 x64 using Gnome3
and i have found that Network Manager does not show my Mobile Broadband when i connect to my phone (N900).
the phone is connected and registered correctly.
i can turn mobile broadband ON but there is no Mobile Broadband connections listed eventhough i have already created and used one with this very same phone before.
to have my mobile broadband connection to appear on the list - i have to open the network connections editor go into tab mobile broadband and open my connection with the 'edit' option and save it.
after this i have my connection listed and by choosing it, i am able to connect to internet (i am using it now)
i expected my connection to available as soon as the system detected a phone/modem available.
please let me know what information you require me to collect to assist with this report.
many thanks,
Nicolas
This is also affecting me--tested with a friend's phone on 12.04 x64, seeing same issue
