Alt-Tab is not working in gnome-classic

In the classic configuration, the Alt-Tab function to switch between windows/applications is not working.
In other combinations, the Alt-key is function correctly, so it does not seem to be a keyboard configuration issue.

Running ubuntu 12.04 64bit and I can confirm that the Alt+Tab functionality is broken.
