compiz crashed with signal 5 in Glib::exception_handlers_invoke()

Ubuntu 12.04 beta 2

On login to Unity 3D, compiz crashed with signal 5 in Glib::exception_handlers_invoke(). Unity 2D works fine. Unity 3D worked fine on 11.10. Samsung Q45 laptop, Intel X3100 integrated graphics.
