Bug Description
Finnix uses a custom patch to syslinux {menu,vesamenu}.c32 which provides the "MENU DEFAULT64" keyword. Unfortunately upstream has indicated it has no desire to accept this functionality, and the patch is difficult to keep in sync locally.
There is ifcpu.c32, but would require a lot of tweaking and multiple config files to replicate the current functionality. So it's a matter of just dropping 64-bit autodetection.
As 64-bit CPUs have been dominant for 5-8 years now, if there has to be a static default, it should probably be 64-bit.

This has been completed. Default is now 64-bit kernel, with 32-bit immediately below it, and a note in the boot menu explaining to use 32-bit if the 64-bit boot doesn't work.
