sudo: pam_mount.c:417: modify_pm_count: Assertion `user != ((void *)0)' failed. Aborted

Pam will not let me clean the apt cashe or install non-Ubuntu (3rd Party) packages.

Xubuntu 12.04 Beta 2 (development branch)

I expected it to clean my cache it did not there are still files in it.

Returned this error in terminal when using sudo apt-get clean:
sudo: pam_mount.c:417: modify_pm_count: Assertion `user != ((void *)0)' failed. Aborted

It may affect encrypted volumes as well and also when ever you enter your password for sudo, OpnePGP, Software Center, or Synaptic. Also possibly Update Manager.
Also what I did to fix it was to disable and then re-enable pam-mount with sudo pam-auth-update.
But may reoccur on next session.
