Can not select text in inbox / preview

It is impossible to select a bit of text from an email (besides in the actual reply/send window). From the inbox / preview window no matter where you select text from it selects everything from the start to the cursor.

I have not seen this problem on any other apps.

I have just noticed that this seems to be the case only for html emails. I got a plain text email today and can select text fine in it.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

If that can help pinpoint, I have the very same behavior with Evolution 3.4.1 on:

I confirm that 12.04 clean installation is also affected by this bug. A workaround is to disable HTML preview and use plaintext vew.
