Bug Description

I have a custom command mapped to run a gnome-terminal using Super+Z

Depending on the speed of my keypresses, sometimes unity shows the dash when it shouldn't

The keypress sequence is :

super down
click z
super up

It always launches the gnome-terminal as expected, however if I hold super down long enough (we're talking hundreds of milliseconds here so its hard to measure) the unity dash does't show, but if I release super too quickly, as I usually do, the dash is shown as well as the execution of gnome-terminal

It's strange that not more people are effected by this. With the dash hidden using any of the Super+Number shortcuts to launch an application will pop up the launcher and immediately hide it.

I wonder if the timeout to show the launcher can be configured or if it even would make more sense to show the launcher only on Super release.
