Bug Description
I created an Ubuntu image for a PandaBoard ES using Linaro 12.3. When I boot this Ubuntu image on my board with a DVI-D monitor attached, I get nothing on the monitor. The display says there is no signal on the line. Then I tried to add the following bootargs to the boot.scr file "omapfb.

Would be nice to test with a more recent kernel, as this one is not supported anymore by Linaro.
Subscribing the TI landing team to see if they are able to provide any feedback (but please also post the full log and the kernel package changelog, so we know which tree and revision was used).
