Evolution Contacts crashes on saving a new contact if the contact's email address has been cut-and-pasted in from elsewhere

It seems to happen every time a cut-and-pasted email address is used, so appears to be a bug.

Another possibility is that the bug seems to occur when the new contact being added has the same email address as an existing contact, i.e. where two separate contacts share the same email address. Maybe Evolution does not allow this.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Precise Pangolin. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu.
