When using Interpolate it shows encountered internal error

Bug Description
Me using Inkscape Version 0.48
When trying to interpolate two objects it shows that it has found an internal problem and shuts the program.
Many times I tries to work with interpolate but as when I am using Extensions > Generate from path > Interpolate
It show error that Inkscape en-countered internal problem.
The same problem also happens when I am using any help files.
Please solve this problem and tell me whether I have to re-install or not as I have already re-installed the same but no progress happened.
