I was also able to reproduce this bug.

1) Open LibreOffice Writer
2) Go to Tools--------> Mail Merge Wizard
3) Click on "Select Address List" on Step 3.
3) Error shows: "Loading component library failed:
file:///usr/lib/libreoffice/program/.../program/libdbalo.so"

Looking through the system, I see that "libdbalo.so" is found at
/usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/libreoffice/program
and not on the location that the error shows.

This is marked as a duplicate but bug #986205 is fixed and this problem is still an issue.

Also IMO this is a more severe issue. I think it's very common for users to want to perform a mail merge.

You can also get this issue by going to Edit, Exchange databases, and Browse. This way is actually worse as you get no error, but I would assume it's the same issue.

This is still an issue with Ubuntu 16.04. Without the full LibreOffice package Writer will crash without any message when you try to add a database for a mail merge.

Can someone remove the duplicate tag?
