Bug Description
When the installation of an application is started via the software center, a launcher shortcut is created, but if the application installation is cancelled, the shortcut on the launcher changes from "Awaiting installation" to an apparently functional launcher for an installed application (complete with app quicklist) however it doesn't actually launch anything because the application was not installed. Potentially confusing for new users.
